MILAN WORKING ON SEVERAL TRANSFERS AND RENEWALS

AC Milan, one of the biggest household names in football history, and one of the top best teams in the Italian Serie A have qualified for the UEFA Champions League group stages next season and this will be the first time they will be achieving this feat in as long as eight years, having last done so back in 2013. Since then, they have been ensuring disappointing seasons in the Serie A that have seen them either miss out on European football or only make it to the group stages of the UEFA Europa League.

FORMER MILAN MIDFIELDER IN LINE FOR JUVE JOB

It is currently almost certain that Juventus manager Andrea Pirlo may not be at the club ahead of next season, according to multiple reports from Italy and abroad. Pirlo was appointed as the club’s new manager following the departure of former head coach Maurizio Sarri some months ago. Following Pirlo’s appointment, the club have not reaped the amount of success they were hoping to enjoy under the former Italy international manager and they could well be lining up his replacement as soon as possible.

MILAN EYE UNITED MIDFIELDER AS TRANSFER TARGET

Italian Serie A giants AC Milan are looking to raid the English Premier League for possible player signings in the summer transfer window, according to reports. After outlining their interest toward the idea of signing Chelsea defender Fikayo Tomori permanently, they now want to make it a double raid on the Premier League as they have sighted Manchester United midfielder, Juan Mata, as a possible transfer target.

Mata is currently playing in the last year of his United contract but has been largely restricted to only a few games since the start of the season. He has been largely used in the UEFA Europa League competition this campaign but he’s also not been playing enough games. His last appearance came in the 6-2 thrashing of AS Roma in the Europa League on Thursday and it was only a cameo appearance he made.

AC Milan 2020/21 Season Review

Job done. That’s what most Milan fans will feel after a thrilling final day in Serie A, where the team dropped in and out of the Champions League spots and then somehow finished 2nd. Was it deserved? You would have to say so, given how Milan topped the table for large parts of the season.

There were some nerves, certainly in the run-in, and you might say that Milan shouldn’t have left themselves with a job to do on the last day. But, 2nd place and Champions League football? The young central defender joined Milan on a season-long loan last summer and has been a shining star for the side since his move.

With how well he has been playing for the side, anyone watching him would think he has been at the club for a couple of years now. AC Milan Make Informal Offer For Manchester United Defender

Italian Serie A giants AC Milan have opened talks with English Premier League side Manchester United over the possibility of signing defender Diogo Dalot on a permanent deal, according to multiple reports. The Portuguese defender left Old Trafford last summer and joined the Rossoneri on a temporary deal that will see him remain in Italy until at least the end of the season, but Milan want him to stay beyond the expiration of his temporary contract.

Since moving to Italy, Dalot has shown signs of remarkable progress and has earned himself more game time at the club. His game has improved exceptionally and he has played a role in helping Milan maintain their spot in the second position of the Italian Serie A table.
