NO MILAN EXIT FOR THEO

AC Milan left-back Theo Hernandez hasbeen able to establish himself as first choice in the Rossoneri starting XIand the player won’t be leaving the Italian Serie A outfit despite the interest of other big European teams. Hernandez has been attracting interest from other big clubs such as French Ligue 1 leaders Paris Saint Germain (PSG) and Premier League heavyweights Chelsea. Both Theo and Milan have clear ideas about his future and it is at the San Siro.

Frenchman Hernandez moved to AC Milan from Real Madrid two years ago andinitially failed to dislodge Swiss international Ricardo Rodriguez in the left-back area. He has since become the undisputed first choice. Since he got the not in the position, he has not looked back. He has 17 goals and 18 assists for the seven-time European champions in all competitions. Theo has played a total of 101 games for the Rossoneri.

MILAN REKINDLE INTEREST IN MILENKOVIC

Seven-time European champions AC Milan have reportedly rekindled their interest in Fiorentinadefender Nikola Milenkovic. This is according to the report via Italian publication La Gazzettadello Sport (GdS) and it was revealed that the player is available for a much lesser transfer fee than when Milan were first quoted the asking price for the Serbian centre back.

MILAN MONITORING ALVAREZ CLOSELY – REPORT

Seven-time European champions AC Milan are on the trail of highly rated River Plate Julian Alvarez who has been scoring goals for fun in the Argentine league. The report via MilanNews stated that the Rossoneri are monitoring the Argentine attacker closely and club officials would have been impressed with his red-hot form for his team this season.

Alvarez could have been playing for Real Madrid after he was one step away from joining the Spanish team at a young age. He came through the youth system at River Plate and has exploded into premium action this season to alert the attention of big European teams such as AC Milan. Alvarez has an attacking return of 15 goals and six assists in 16 league games this season, including ten goals in his last six matches in the league. SERIE A: MILAN WINNING RUN EXTENDED

Seven-time European champions AC Milan have now won six games in a row in the Italian Serie A after the slim win over Torino at the San Siro on Tuesday.

FLORENZI RULED OUT FOR A MONTH

Italian international Alessandro Florenzi has been ruled out for a month after he underwent a knee operation earlier on Saturday. The period of recuperation from the surgery was revealed on the AC Milan website. The knee surgery was performed by Pier Paolo Marianiat the Villa Stuart Clinic in the Italian capital of Rome with AC Milan doctor Lucio Genesio in attendance.


The arthroscopic operation was done to correct a little tear to the media meniscus in the left knee of the AC Milan utility player who has played seven of the eight games at the club this season. The Italian has started twice plus five substitute appearances for Milan following his move from AS Roma this summer. CHIELLINI TARGETS QATAR 2022 PLACE

Juventus defender Giorgio Chiellini is not ruling out the possibility of representing Italy at next year’s FIFA World Cup tournament on Qatari soil. Chiellini talked about the possibility of playing for the Italian senior national team at Qatar 2022 at the Italian Tech Week as monitored by Tuttomercatoweb (TMW). According to him, he might play at the World Cup tournament next year if he maintains his fitness.

Chiellini recently turned 37 but that has not stopped him from playing the round leather game. The central defender was a free agent when he helped Italy to win the Euro 2020 tournament this summer but he has since re-signed for Juventus on a two-year contract until 2023. Read more… »

MILAN TO ACCELERATE FLORENZI CHASE

AC Milan are prepared to accelerate negotiations for AS Roma utility player Alessandro Florenzi in the coming days according to Italian publication Calciomercato. It was revealed that AC Milan will intensify efforts to sign Italian national team player Florenzi on the back of the return of Roma director Tiago Pinto.

Pinto is back in Italy after his trip to London last week to seal the €40m deal for Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham. Abraham was initially reluctant to leave Premier League football for Italy but he has since changed his mind thanks in part to the abovementioned Pinto.

MILAN PLANNING ANOTHER RAID ON CHELSEA THIS SUMMER

Italian Serie A giants AC Milan have already successfully snapped up a striker from English Premier League side Chelsea this summer but they seem to be hungry for more players from the Blues. Milan completed the signing of former Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud from Chelsea this summer after a successful round of talks as the Italian side looked to bolster the attacking line of their squad. Giroud was signed for around £2 million from Stamford Bridge as a potential standing partner for Zlatan Ibrahimovic but with the two strikers already bearing the end of their careers, Milan are said to be interested in planning for the future.

According to the latest reports, Milan are very much interested in the idea of snapping up another striker from Chelsea, in the person of Tammy Abraham. The England international striker has largely been tipped to find another club after being told that he is currently behind Timo Werner and Kai Havertz in the pecking order under manager Thomas Tuchel.

HOW WILL GIROUD PERFORM AT MILAN NEXT SEASON?

With reports gathering pace that Chelsea striker Olivier Giroud will be joining Italian Serie A giants AC Milan next season, there have been questions raised about how much of an impact he will be making at the Italian club next season. The France international attacker has grown fed up at Stamford Bridge following his lack of game time under manager Thomas Tuchel and has long decided that he wants to try out a new challenge elsewhere. He was largely restricted to minimal game time last season and hardly played in the Premier League, with Tuchel preferring Timo Werner over him and Tammy Abraham.

He has reportedly agreed to join Milan on a two-year contract and is expected to sign a deal with the Rossoneri in the coming days in order to finalize all the formalities in the deal. Giroud is an excellent striker and has always performed well whenever he got his chance. He is expected to be more involved in games at Milan next season than he did at Chelsea and there is a huge belief that he will score a couple of goals at the San Siro too.

MILAN CONTINUE CHASE FOR CHELSEA STRIKER GIROUD

Chelsea striker Olivier Giroud has continued to be a wanted man by Italian giants AC Milan, with the Rossoneri said to be keen to acquire the services of the France international striker. Giroud, who has been reduced to a bench role at Stamford Bridge in the last couple of months, is said to be dissatisfied with life in England and reportedly wants to engineer a move away from the Blues. The former Arsenal attacker has made it clear to the Chelsea manager that he would love to play more games and that he is willing to find another club if the German manager cannot promise him that.

At the end of the last two seasons, former Inter Milan manager Antonio Conte signaled his desire to sign the ex-Arsenal player and take him to Italy. However, Chelsea remained adamant that they were not going to sell him until they find a perfect replacement. Although staying put at Chelsea was not entirely what he wanted, Giroud finished the 2020-21 campaign with the Blues.
