                       MAN UNITED STAR JETS OFF TO MILAN, MEETS IBRAHIMOVIC

Like it or loathe it, Manchester United’s players are now on a break after the Champions League defeat. With no game until April 2, the players who are not on international duty have a breather to recharge for the final run-in. One of these is a player who has barely played all season anyway, Jesse Lingard. Of course Lingard’s lack of action is the reason why he is not in the England squad, although that doesn’t explain Jadon Sancho’s peculiar absence from Gareth Southgate’s muddled plans.


Lingard has taken the opportunity to catch up with a former Manchester United teammate who he played alongside between 2016 and 2018, Zlatan Ibrahimovic. This is a far better place for Lingard to visit than hanging out around West Ham’s stadium, and who knows, Zlatan may even be encouraging his old pal to join him in Italy permanently.

                           PREDICTING HOW MILAN COULD SPEND THEIR SUMMER

Italian Serie A giants AC Milan are set to have an eventful summer transfer window if all the reports surrounding the club’s transfer decisions are anything to go by. Milan have continued their resurgence this season and have impressed a lot of people, including their fans as they look to return to the table of the big boys not only in the Italian Serie A but also in Europe as well. The Milan management are working on how the midfield will look moving forward and there is already the idea of replacing Tiemoue Bakayoko, a report claims.


According to what we have learned from our colleagues at SempreMilan.it, Franck Kessié – whose contract will expire at the end of the season – has been courted by Barcelona for some time and he is unlikely to reject the possibility of joining the Blaugrana or a Premier League team. Milan want Renato Sanches to replace him having tracked him for three years now, and while he may not be a direct replacement in terms of characteristics, he would make Kessié’s farewell less destabilising from a numerical point of view.
