Italian Serie A giants AC Milan have already successfully snapped up a striker from English Premier League side Chelsea this summer but they seem to be hungry for more players from the Blues. Milan completed the signing of former Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud from Chelsea this summer after a successful round of talks as the Italian side looked to bolster the attacking line of their squad. Giroud was signed for around £2 million from Stamford Bridge as a potential standing partner for Zlatan Ibrahimovic but with the two strikers already bearing the end of their careers, Milan are said to be interested in planning for the future.
There are also reports that Chelsea want to sign a new striker this summer, with Borussia Dortmund star Erling Haaland being their priority target. Should the Blues sign the Norwegian star from Dortmund, it would compound Abraham’s woes as he would find it even more difficult to earn himself a starting spot at the club.
Milan want to capitalize on the situation as they wish to sign Abraham, 23, who they believe still has a lot of years of improvement and development ahead of him. The Italian side are also of the notion that a younger striker would fit into their plans as Ibrahimovic is already nearing the tail-end of his playing career, while Giroud is also not getting any younger. If Abraham becomes available, Milan are one of the first clubs expected to make inquiries about him.
