Antonio Cassano began training with AC Milan after signing for the club recently. The 28-year-old, who joins officially on January 3, started training on Tuesday morning at the Rashid stadium, home to Al-Ahly. Massimiliano Allegri gathered his players at 09:00 local time and all the focus was on Cassano.
The club’s official website reported Andrea Pirlo, Mathieu Flamini and Thiago Silva began the day in the gym as they continue their recoveries from injury.
Alexandre Pato seems to have overcome his injury woe as he took part with the rest of the players. Robinho was missing though. He is expected later after missing a flight from Brazil on Monday.
Carlos Tevez and Roque Santa Cruz have been linked to AC Milan.
